Educational Living Pty Ltd is a registered training organisation, registered in Victoria, Australia.
Since our establishment in 1991 we have worked in accordance with our vision which is to set new standards of excellence in education and training, with a view to helping organisations grow through their own self-development systems.
We believe in and deliver quality education and training in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and Industrial arena.
Our aim is simple yet powerful. It is to develop competent people who are passionate about what they do or what they want to do.
We see education and training not as a process but as a journey. We will be with you right throughout your educational journey to become a passionately competent person because that’s what we do.
Smart and Skilled is a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. It’s helping people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers. Educational Living is an approved provider for Smart and Skilled. For any inquiries regarding Smart and Skilled click here.
Nationally, a Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required for all candidates undertaking VET qualifications. To obtain a USI please click here to access the USI website for the free application process.
In response to each of the States imposing further shutdowns, lockdowns & restrictions, the way Educational Living currently does business is in flux.
At Educational Living our main focus is student outcomes. While the Government of Victoria has confirmed today that school holidays for government schools will be brought forward, extensive work is being done behind the scenes to make resources available for an interim online approach. Our Quality Team will be in touch with each VET Coordinator and Trainer over the coming weeks.
If we are not able to attend onsite for face-to-face industry training, there are still numerous ways we can keep the momentum going for our many apprentices and trainees. The team at Educational Living is looking at each individual’s training needs and adapting training. We will be looking at each Training Plan, and establishing remote options. This may be via video training (Google Meet, Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, etc.) or by sending theory units.
ASQA and our compliance
A strong consideration with the adjustment in our delivery & assessment practices, is maintaining our high standards of compliance. Our regulator, ASQA, has reinforced that position by communicating that quality of training and assessment is not to be compromised. We will be practicing meticulous record keeping to support any change to our usual procedures.
The Management Team will be meeting regularly to review any and all communications from the DHHS or the WHO, and making adjustments as necessary.
We thank you, our clients, for your continued support during this challenging chapter in our shared global story.
