COVID-19 Response
In response to each of the States imposing further shutdowns, lockdowns & restrictions, the way Educational Living currently does business is in flux.
School Clients
At Educational Living our main focus is student outcomes. While the Government of Victoria has confirmed today that school holidays for government schools will be brought forward, extensive work is being done behind the scenes to make resources available for an interim online approach. Our Quality Team will be in touch with each VET Coordinator and Trainer over the coming weeks.
Industry Clients
If we are not able to attend onsite for face-to-face industry training, there are still numerous ways we can keep the momentum going for our many apprentices and trainees. The team at Educational Living is looking at each individual’s training needs and adapting training. We will be looking at each Training Plan, and establishing remote options. This may be via video training (Google Meet, Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, etc.) or by sending theory units.
ASQA and our compliance
A strong consideration with the adjustment in our delivery & assessment practices, is maintaining our high standards of compliance. Our regulator, ASQA, has reinforced that position by communicating that quality of training and assessment is not to be compromised. We will be practicing meticulous record keeping to support any change to our usual procedures.
The Management Team will be meeting regularly to review any and all communications from the DHHS or the WHO, and making adjustments as necessary.
