Who is this Qualification for?
MEM10105 Certificate I in Engineering would prepare a person to perform a defined range of activities most of which are routine and predictable.

Applications may include a variety of employment related skills including preparatory access and participation skills, broad-based induction skills and/or specific workplace skills. They may also include participation in a team or work group.

This is a Nationally Recognized qualification.

Prerequisite Requirements
As per individual units of competency chosen within this qualification.

Program Overview
This is a competency-based program.

You must complete all core units of competency, and additional elective units to the value of at least 24 points.

Relevance to engineering workplace requirements can be tailored via selection of elective units.

Participants who successfully complete this qualification have the option of a future pathway into the following:

  • Certificate IV in Engineering
  • Diploma in Engineering
  • Advanced Diploma in Engineering
  • and other Engineering Qualifications

Participants may continue studies through to enrolment in a university degree, applying for articulation on a case-by-case basis.
